Mandataries or signatories

If you are represented by:

  • a guardian;
  • a curator;
  • a mandatary appointed because of incapacity;
  • power of attorney;
  • one or more attorneys.

The appropriate form must be completed by you or, as the case may be, the representative or, if more than one, by one of them.

Plurality of representatives

In the case of more than one representative, the form must, in all cases, be accompanied by the designation of one or more of them authorized to act, alone or jointly, on behalf of the account holder, with a specimen of their signature. If applicable, the designation must specify which of these representatives must act jointly.

To obtain the documents you need, simply ask for them by telephone or in writing. Épargne Placements Québec will send them to you. Once it has received them, Épargne Placements Québec will check that it has all the required documents and signatures and will proceed with the additions or changes requested.

Épargne Placements Québec will consider the sigatories to be valid until it receives the new documents.
